Canon Releases Pricing For Rebel XS SLR
Canon has released the shipment and pricing information for the already announced Rebel XS digital SLR. According to their reports the new SLR will be available and on the store’s shelves in August. It will be available with an EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens for $699. The lens does come separately for $199.
It is not often that we see Canon introduce a brand new camera of its level without an older model to serve as the opening price point for it. Instead they are offering consumers the newest technology that can be had for an affordable and entry level model.
The new Canon XS will be the first EOS digital SLR that offers unlimited burst mode to the fullest capacity of a memory card. Along with this feature they have also introduces a new speed light called the 430EX II. This will replace the 430EX and can offer a 20% faster recycle time. It will be available for $329.
