Fujifilm Reveals Finepix F60fd And Finepix J150w
Fujifilm has revealed their new Finepix F60fd 12-mega pixel and the Finepix J150w wide-angle cameras. The F60fd features a Super CCD HR s12 mega pixel 1/1.16” sensor, brand new 3” LCD screen, and a 3x optical zoom.
With the addition of Dual Image Stabilization (Sensor Shift + High ISO), Face Detection technology with automatic red-eye removal and a new Scene Recognition mode, the Fujifilm Finepix F60fd promises to deliver better image quality for everyday use than the predecessor.
The Fujifilm Finepix F60fd’s scene recognition claims to automatically identify subjects, scenes and faces and adjusts exposure, focus, white balance and ISO accordingly to provide clarity and sharpness, regardless of background. At full resolution, the camera utilizes ISO settings up to 1600, but also supports ISO 3200 at 6 MP and 6400 at 3 MP. The camera also activates noise reduction when processing low-light images.
The Fujifilm Finepix F60fd will begin shipping in September 2008 at a retail price of $300. The new Fujifilm Finepix J150w ($200) will also make its debut in September 2008. Offering a 5x optical zoom wide-angle lens (28-140mm equivalent), the Finepix J150w shoots images at up to 10-megapixels. ISO sensitivity up to 1600 is supported at full resolution, while ISO 3200 is supported at 3 MP.
