Panasonic Releases Lumix DMC-FZ28

Panasonic released the new Lumix DMC-FZ28 digital still camera - which features a 27mm wide-angle Leica DC Vario-el Marit lens with an 18x optical zoom. This is the next digital camera to join the FZ series and like its brothers it is equipped with a high-powered zoom in a compact body. The FZ28 also boasts 10.1-megapixel resolution and adds a number of enhanced features that boost user fun and convenience, represented by an advanced iA (Intelligent Auto) mode.

Sony A350

The new Sony A350 is equipped with a sensor resolution of 14.2 megapixels and has a space of its very own in the digital SLR market alongside the Pentax K20D. It has a price of £449.99 – which is decent when you think that it comes with an 18-70mm zoom lens. The two lens kit is priced at £649.99 and comes with a 55-200mm zoom.

Canon EOS 450D/Rebel XSi

The Canon EOS 450D/Rebel XSi is the successor to the EOS 400D/XTi – which was a favorite among many consumers. The new 450D has received some much needed upgrades in screen size and resolution. With the camera you are given a Live View kit lens that comes with the Image Stabilization. This is a much larger optical viewfinder that has the ability to show the ISO value at all times, allows spot metering, quicker continuous shooting, longer battery life, and a dedicated ISO button.
